Liseli Initiative 2023

The Girl Power project in Zambia seeks to protect the rights of rural girls in Livingstone through education and advocacy. It will focus on promoting their education, raising awareness of gender-based violence and empowering girls to report abuse. Activities include educational programmes, awareness-raising campaigns and the creation of safe spaces. The project is expected to increase girls' enrolment and retention in school, reduce child marriage and gender-based violence, empower girls and raise awareness of girls' rights and the importance of education in Zambia.
