Hope 4 Young Girls
The project takes an appropriate approach to aspects of local culture such as initiation rites and dances into adulthood and addresses female genital mutilation as a factor associated with child marriage. Girls receive protection, training in fundamental rights and sexual and reproductive health in clubs organized in schools. Mechanisms are established to offer occupational training to girls who are not attending school and who are at risk. In addition, community members improve their knowledge, involvement and commitment to girls' rights.
